Sacramento Coast Guard unit plays Santa enroute to Central America

WHO: Coast Guard Air Station Sacramento crewmembers, Lt. Adam McCarthy, HC-130 Hercules pilot, Lt. Hunter Atherton, HC-130 Hercules pilot, and Rodney Stanhope, of Yellow Ribbon America.

WHAT: Coast Guard crewmembers will be picking up 1,000 individual toys, from a Yellow Ribbon America location in Sacramento, and flying them to Fort Campbell, Ky., where the toys will be delivered to the 86th Combat Support Hospital Alpha Company.

WHEN: Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011 1:30 p.m.
The Coast Guard flight is scheduled to depart McClellen Air Field, Friday, Dec. 23, 2011. The HC-130 Hercules aircraft and aircrew will then depart Fort Campbell and head toward their mission destination in Central America.
