Coast Guard City Week Celebration 2007
Wednesday, 26 September: - - Coast Guard vs. City Softball Game: 1800 - 2100.
- - Kennedy Field, Eureka (across from Eureka Zoo). Free burgers, hot dogs and soft drinks.
Thursday, 27 September:
- - Dawn to Dusk Golf
- - Free golf for Coast Guard Personnel and families at Eureka Municipal Golf Course. Free golf for the Cutter Aspen on Friday the 28th.
Friday, 28 September:
Vessel Tours: CGC Aspen 1300-1500; Commercial Pier, Eureka.
- Navy League Reception for Coast Guard personnel and families; 1800-2200. Casual free dinner w/ civilian attire at the Wharfinger Building in Eureka.
Saturday, 29 September:
- - Humboldt Bay Maritime Expo. 1100-1600; various booths; free food to Coast Guard personnel and families; HH-65C SAR Demo (H65 & 47MLB) followed by static display.
- - Vessel Tours: CGC Aspen 0900-1600; Commercial Pier, Eureka.
- - Coast Guard Ball at the Adorni Center, Eureka. Guest Speaker - RADM Bone Dinner Dress Blue (O3 and below), Dinner Dress Blue Jacket for O4 and above. Free for Coast Guard Personnel and significant other.1800 - Social Hour; 1900 - Dinner; 2000 - Program; 2100- ??? Dancing.
Sunday, 30 September:
- - Memorial Service for fallen PACAREA Coastguardsmen; 1300-1330: F-Street/Boardwalk, Old Town Eureka. Chaplain Invocation; wreath laying ceremony in Bay by 47' MLB; HH-65 flyover; bagpipes; vocalist and playing of Taps.
