Updated C-130 Video: Coast Guard locates missing San Francisco sailor SAN DIEGO – The Coast Guard escorted the sailing A C-130 aircraft from Air Station Sacramento located the sailing vessel and its operator, Sean Haggerty, 46 miles southwest of The Coast Guard Cutter Haddock was in the area, diverted to the location and arrived on scene at 8 p.m. Once they determined Haggerty did not need any immediate medical attention, they took the Sea Hag in tow and brought the vessel and operator safely to Helicopters from Coast Guard Air Stations San Diego and The Coast Guard was initially unable to make contact with the vessel, so the C-130 crew dropped a radio to the boat. The Coast Guard Cutter Haddock was also dispatched to the location.
