Harper for Kids, U.S. Coast Guard to hold Inch & Miles Sportsmanship Festival

WHAT: Harper for Kids and the U.S. Coast Guard are scheduled to hold an inaugural festival on Coast Guard Island in Alameda, Calif. The free festival is for children of Bay Area Coast Guard families.

WHEN: Saturday, June 12, Noon to 2 p.m.

WHERE: Coast Guard Island, Alameda, Calif. (The tennis courts are located along Wakefield Drive.)

WHO: Children ages 6-11 years old of Bay Area Coast Guard families.

AUDIO/VISUAL: The children will engage in interactive tennis games and drills. Each child will receive a sportsmanship pledge card and Inch & Miles Sportsmanship Tennis Festival T-shirt. Chipotle Mexican Grill at Alameda Towne Center will provide lunch for participants after the festival.
